These lightweight high precision tools in a pen style design (Ø only 35mm (1.4")) are ergonomically formed to allow comfortable handling and optimal control. Their quietness and effortless, vibration-free drive via the special permanent magnet motor, the ground spindle and collar bearing all contribute to the ergonomic design. An efficient cooling system facilitates extended use under various load conditions. Both tools are useable on any workable material e.g. steel, precious metals, wood, glass, ceramics, plastics, precious stones. They are ideal for model builders, woodcarvers, jewelers, opticians, artists, dental technicians, tool and die makers, etc.

Note:
A mains adapter is required to operate the MICROMOT 60 devices. We recommend the PROXXON mains adapter NG 2/S. The speed control of our 12 volt devices only works when operated via nonstabilised power supply units (e.g. all MICROMOT mains adapters). Connection to stabilised power supply units is possible. However, the devices will then operate with maximum rotational speeds (also applies to operation with batteries).

Rotary Tool MICROMOT 60/E

A specially balanced motor makes this tool run very smoothly at variable speeds from 5,000 - 20,000rpm (no load). It comes with 6 high precision triple slit steel collets in sizes 1 - 1.5 - 2 - 2.4 - 3 and 3.2mm (1/32" - 1/16" - 5/64" - 3/32" - 7/64" and 1/8") which ensure accurate clamping of the bits for highest concentricity and the precision you need for finest work pieces. Weight: 230g (1.2 lbs), length: 220mm (8 21/32"). Low voltage for optimal safety, 12V DC, max 40W input.

Rotary Tool MICROMOT 60

Same as 60/E, except without speed control. Load speed is 20,000rpm. If you run this machine while using our transformer NG 5/E as power supply, speeds are adjustable betweeen 5,000 and 20,000rpm via the speed control on the work station.

With quick-action chuck. Practical for use with multiple shank diameters. Slim, easily handled and light. Quick-action chuck and electronic speed control, with feedback effect (high torque at low rpm's). Specialty balanced, low noise DC motor with high life expectancy. Other technical specifications and design same as the MICROMOT 60/E described above.
