- Chuck the shank of the expanding mandrel in a collet, jaw chuck or fixture.
- Machine the slotted part larger than the bore of the part.
- Loosen the hex draw bolt, position the part, and tighten the draw screw.
- The part is now chucked and ready for machining.
- Can be used with standard collets, vises, jaw chucks and many other special fixtures.
