Micro 100 Carbide Tipped Boring Bars & Set
- Tipped with Micro 100 high rupture strength & shock resistant carbide
- Designed to be used for machining a variety of different sized holes.
- General purpose carbide tipped tools for various radius turning operations.
- Right hand cutting applications.
- May also be employed for milling, boring or other operations.
- Used in a toolholder for lathe boring applications or they may be mounted in a boring head for boring in a milling machine.
- Can also be used in other machines as well.
- Well suited for interrupted cutting.
- The basic design of these boring bars incorporates a cylindrical body where the tool is the same size from one end to the other, allowing these bars to have considerable strength and rigidity while minimizing vibration, throughout a range of speeds and feeds.
- Tipped with a proprietary carbide from Micro 100®, offering high rupture strength and shock resistance and resists chipping or breaking very well, under normal machining conditions.
- Right Hand.
- Manufactured from high speed steel with carbide tips.
- Single ended carbide tipped tools.
- Available with bar diameters of 1/4" to 1" and overall lengths between 4" to 10".
- Effective minimum boring diameters of .320" to 1.233".
- Bright finishes.
- Made in the U.S.A.
