    The pen functions as advertised. Some surfaces are more easily marked than others. The mark is permanent, but hard to see on some surfaces. Cleaning the surface first is also a must.

    Sadly, the metal etching pen is nearly useless, honestly a sharpie has more staying power than this pen. A q-tip and vinegar works better.
