Accu-Tapper & Deburring Tapping Machine
- To operate just flip the switch, place the workpiece against the tap and apply pressure. When pressure is released, the tapper automatically reverses. Sliding backing plate design holds true relationship between tap and workpiece so very small holes can be tapped without tap breakage.
- Tapping capacity in steel is 0 to 1/4" diameter; soft metal 0 to 5/16" diameter, palstics 0 to 3/4" diameter.
- Units are equipped with a 1/3 hp, 115 VAC, 60 Hz, 1725 rpm motor; adjustable stops for controlling hole depth.
- Single-speed machine has a 1/2" chuck and operates at 600 rpm.
- Two-speed machine has a 1/2" chuck and operates at 400 and 600 rpm.
- The slower speed allows machine to also be used with chamfering, deburring and countering tools with a shank up to 1/2" diameter OD threading can be performed when a die holder is used.
